People have asked what is my pick for Sunday's game? This is not as bad as a couple of weeks ago my comedian co-workers Charles and Ed blowing up my phone with texts and calls patronizing me on the loss the Baltimore Ravens just handed my team, the New England Patriots. I go on to Facebook that night, which was such a bad idea. I thumb through so many people jumping for joy about Tom Brady and the Patriots loosing. There was all this exictment for Ray Lewis and the Ravens. I also wanted to see the Falcons make it, but they didn't as they lost to the 49ers on the same day.

What to do about this Sunday's game? Who will I cheer for? What is my pick? Hmm...

Got it! My pick is for Simba to WIN! Yep, Go Simba! She will bring her 'A' game Sunday! What in the world am I talking about? THE PUPPY BOWL!!! Forget that other game, I'm watching PUPPY BOWL IX on Animal Planet, the Biggest Game on All Fours! I hear there will be kittens performing at halftime. I bet they won't lip sync!

You think the Raven's Ray Lewis is inspired, you haven't met Simba!

Trinka is for real too! I'll go ahead and call it, Trinka will be the MVP (Most Valuable Puppy).

These dogs and all the others featured in the Puppy Bowl come from shelters and it really drives home the message how there are so many loving animals looking for a family, like at our own Metro Animal Shelter on 35th Street in Tuscaloosa. Finding them homes, makes them a winner!
