With the win the Tide now has 11 consecutive home wins and gave the Gamecocks its first loss of the season. Alabama returns to action on Sunday for an out of conference matchup with Chattanooga. The teams face off on Sunday, Sep. 18 at 6 p.m. CT at Alabama Soccer Stadium.
The University of Alabama women's soccer team received a commitment from an exciting international soccer prospect to join the Crimson Tide. Nadia Ramadan currently serves as the captain of Egypt's U-17 Women's National Team, and also plays for the U-20 team.
For the first time in program history, the Alabama soccer team has won its first-round game and will move on to face BYU in round two of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
