See our collection of photos and the start line video capturing the 2016 Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama!

Over 900 participants of all ages converged on Goverment Plaza downtown in Tuscaloosa to take on the challenge of running a 2-mile course with box of one dozen doughnuts waiting to be consumed in the middle!

Runners had the option of a being a challenger or not. Meaning, the runners and walkers didn't have to eat the doughnuts, if they didn't want to.

The top female and male finishers each collected a prize of $400 each! All participants received a finishers medal, and the great feeling of coming together for fun and the cause!

Hey, if you were there, I probably caught you on video. Take a look of the start line for the 2016 challenge below.

Here's a collection of photos capturing the excitement of the day! Some participants went all out with costumes, such as group of ladies smiling for my camera. I approached the challenge with the idea of stuffing my face with as many doughnuts as possible. See the photo with 4 at one time! Haha. Plus, other sights from the day enjoyed by all!
