Hundreds Take Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge [PHOTOS]

I need to hurry and get this gallery of photos posted up before I slip into a sugar coma. Today (2/28) was the 3rd Annual Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge which serves as the year's biggest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama.

The challenge involves running one mile, then eating 12 glazed doughnuts, followed by another mile of running. It's a running race colliding with a eating contest. The result is a spectacle that can't be matched. You leave it will plenty of funny battle stories, while helping to raise awareness and funds for the cause.

BBBS equipped is GoPro cameras to take on the race course. I carried one on a stick and Monk from our sister station had one strapped to his head. BBBS has the cameras now and will be working to edit the footage down. I bet you're like me in that you can't wait to see it.
