Former Crimson Tide running back Bo Scarbrough recently joined the USFL's Birmingham Stallions, but got off to a slow start in his first outing as a member of the team on May 15.

In his second game as a Stallion; however, Scarbrough looked as if he had never taken a day off from football to begin with. The 6-foot-1, 235 lb. back dominated on Saturday, helping Birmingham extend its undefeated record to 6-0 with a win over the Michigan Panthers.

Scarbrough rushed the ball 16 times for 105 yards and scored his first touchdown in the new league, taking a fourth quarter handoff 28 yards for a score that would extend the Stallions' lead.

While the touchdown run was the highlight of the night for the former five-star, Scarbrough had several plays where he looked like his old self from his days at Alabama. It's safe to say the Stallions are a fan of the new addition to the backfield, as the team's social media pages were abuzz with highlights from the big bodied back all game long.

Scarbrough even got in on the festivities himself after his team secured the victory, delivering a personal message to Birmingham fans.

"Feels great to get a win out here on the home field," Scarbrough continued, "Thanks to all the fans that came out and supported us. We appreciate you guys and are looking forward to you guys in the future. Giddy up!"

The Stallions take on the Pittsburgh Maulers next weekend on Sunday, May 29 at 1:00 P.M. CST as Birmingham looks to continue its winning streak, now on the shoulders of its new running back.
