Indie folk band The Brook & The Bluff will be performing at Avondale Brewing Company this November. General sale for tickets is open this Friday.

Originally from Birmingham, the group is currently based out of the Nashville. Their trek back home is part of an upcoming 36-stop tour for the band’s new album “Bluebeard.”

The album itself won’t release until September 15, just a few days ahead of the band’s first leg of the tour out west.

Announcement of the tour garnered support from thousands of fans and a hearty “Hell yeah!” from indie rock band Mt. Joy, whom The Brook & The Bluff have toured with in the past.

This time around, the band will be sharing the stage with Bendigo Fletcher, a self-described combination of “folk-rock and dreamy psychedelia.”

Audience members can see both bands live in Birmingham for $25 this fall.

Although tickets for general audiences don’t go live until 10 a.m. this Friday on Ticketmaster, avid fans can get theirs in a special presale. The band’s Instagram says that these early access tickets can be claimed tomorrow, June 7, on the band’s website at 11 a.m.

The November show will be The Brook & The Bluff’s first appearance in Birmingham in over a year since their performance last August at the Mason Music Fest. It will start at 6:30 p.m. and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
