What to do for the spotlight song on this B101.7 Flashback Friday? It's the day after Halloween and the 1st day of November. Hmm...

Well, I could feature another Halloween song with that holiday being last night and falling so close to the weekend. Another angle is to play into how the Christmas season appears to have started... today. Then, I thought, it's a little too early for that. I mean, we have the Main Avenue Mortuary still open for crying out loud. Plus, I'd like to think for a moment about the glory of filling my face and watching football on Thanksgiving. Those Christmas songs will come soon enough and Halloween songs today are like looking into a rear view mirror.

Around this time I began to think what you are probably thinking, let's move this along. There you have it, 'Move This' by Technotronic is the spotlight song of the week.

The 1992 hit reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's the same year that Bill Clinton became president, Minnesota's 'Mall of America' is constructed (spanning 78 acres), and the Georgia Dome is completed in Atlanta. Speaking of that dome, these days the Atlanta Falcons are mapping out plans for a new retractable roof stadium, so games would be 'outdoors' on nice days.
