Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah 5K Update with Cissy Cochran and Blair Plott In Studio

The second annual Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah 5K is coming up Saturday morning! Cissy Cochran and Blair Plott dropped by the B101.7 studio to share an update with us!

Final preparations are being made for the second annual event to fight Cystic Fibrosis through the Thomas Plott Foundation. Cissy Cochran started this event in support of the foundation set up for Blair's seven year old son.

Cissy and Blair are runners who share the excitement for this event. But, nobody can deliver the excitement like Cissy's husband, Scott Cochran. Yes, the conditioning director and all around motivating guy from the Alabama football team!

Scott has become famous for his "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah" shout, as featured on the big screen in Bryant-Denny Stadium going into the 4th quarter of a game.

Saturday, the bull horn will be passed over to our honorary race starter to get us fired up with the shout to move it!

The 5K or 3.1 mile course is explained as flat and will takes us through the downtown streets in Tuscaloosa. New for the kids in 2015, the quick "fun run."
