Talking about the NFL's incredibly stupid move to ban purses at games this season reminded me we're long overdue for a new edition of "What's in My Bag?" Check out the items I'm loving this summer.

The purse I'm carrying this season is a "Cereal Box" Tote Handbag from Target's Mossimo Supply Co. This purse has tons of space and lots of convenient compartments which are essentials to a busy mom like me. Here's a list of what's inside:

1. Wallet, Coin Purse, Keys, Hairbrush, Vaseline, Hairspray--these are all carryover items from spring. They're the same items from the last time I spilled out my purse contents for the entire internet to see. The baby powder and the EOS lipbalm haven't gone anywhere either, and I'm still using my Smashbox and Loreal lip balms, too. I'm loyal like that.

2. DKNY Pure Verbena: This is my summer scent. I found this perfume last year and have been obsessed ever since. It's a clean, crisp scent with floral notes. It gets me a lot of compliments, so it's essential. I like compliments, okay?

3. Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo: Summer in the South means humidity and sweat and general grossness. I combat that with a travel size of my fave dry shampoo. It soaks up any oil and helps to freshen up my hair while I am on the go... and I am always on the go.

4. Maybelline Baby Lips: Love me some Baby Lips Lip Balm. It's like three bucks and keeps my lips moisturized. My favorite is the peach, which tastes just like summertime.

5. Headphones: When it comes to headphones, the bigger, the better. I can't drop an insane amount on Beats or Bose brands, but these Sony Headphones are great. I think I paid less than $25 for them.

6. Quilted Coupon Pouch: Y'all can laugh at me for my little old lady quilted pouch, but while you do that I will be over here counting my CASH MONEY. I recently started getting serious about my coupon game, and now we save at least 30% every grocery trip.

7. L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Balm: Like I'd only have one lip balm. Please. You know me better than that. I use this one because I like the sheer tint of color that comes along with the moisturizing balm.

8. Oil Blotting Tissues: Again, it's Summer--that means it feels like a sauna outside and I sweat like crazy when I leave the comfort of my precious air conditioning. I use these tissues to blot any sweat and oil and keep my complexion generally flawless. I know you can buy higher-end versions of these tissues from Sephora and the like, but why would you do that when you can get them at Rite-Aid for like three bucks?

9. Sunglasses: These are adorable, aren't they? They're the "Faye" style from Target. I bought them because they reminded me of Audrey Hepburn and I am a sucker for retro glam.

10. Calendar: The black thing with the yellow St. Jude sticker is my calendar. I use Google calendars to keep myself organized, but the paper calendar is still my go-to. I write important dates and notes in this one first. Just an analog girl in a digital world, y'all.
