Watch This: Hacked TV Station Reports Zombie Apocalypse

TV viewers were in for a major shock yesterday when several TV stations in Great Falls, Montana reported an impending zombie apocolypse through the Emergeny Alert System.

The message broadcast was: "The bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and are attacking the living. Do not attempt to approach or apprehend these bodies, as they are considered extremely dangerous."

KRTV and its affiliates blame the message on a hacker's getting in to the station's Emergency Alert System. Great Falls Police received several panicked calls following the false alert.

I know people were excited about the return of AMC's The Walking Dead, but I think this is taking things a bit too far. I'm all for a good prank, but I'd stay away from the EAS. Tampering with something that serious is... you know... a FELONY.

Police are still searching for the hacker responsible for yesterday's mayhem.
