The Super Bowl which followed September 11, 2001, came with a surprise people still talk about 12 years later. The people at Budweiser created a 9/11 tribute featuring their world famous Clydesdale horses. In the commercial, the horses leave their stable and march to New York City. They arrive to look out over the river at ground zero, the site of the collapsed towers and the thousands of innocent lives lost. The horses then bow their heads to pay their respect. All across the country at that moment, you would not find a dry eye. This is the emotional weight we all carried from 9/11. This commercial only aired once.

10 years later, the famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses commercial returned to remember and honor the loss of life as they look at the progress of the new One World Trade Center tower (formerly known as Freedom Tower).
