Tragic Double Murder In Moundville…..Victims Names Released.

WVUA 23 News Is Reporting The Victims Of The Shooting Earlier Today As: Paige Mitchell, 38, and Kaci Mitchell, 14.

Moundville Police were on the scene earlier today, after the mother and her daughter were found dead this morning at a home on Market Street.

Two smaller children who were in the house found the victims and called family members.

Police said they believe the shooter was the mother’s estranged boyfriend. According to Moundville Police Chief Toby Banks, the suspect shot himself and was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center.

Just a sad situation all around. Our thoughts and prayers go out to The Family.
