The Song That Changed My Life, Vol.5

Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I couldn't leave this song out of my list.

I left my small town in Nebraska when I was 17 and took a plane to Maui to live my best life. Going to college I had a hard time making 'girlfriends' at first, I had no problem making dude friends. Living on a beautiful rock in the Pacific, you will be surrounded by beautiful people, especially drop-dead beautiful woman.

One of my closest friends that lived on Maui was, Jose Luna, an L.A. kid who moved to Maui like me. One drunken fuel night, he ripped out his guitar and played a song that changed my life, for two reasons.

1.) It was touching and sounded so pleasant on the ear.

2.) He told me that every woman loves this song.

So the next day I went to the local guitar store, bought a cheap $45 guitar and learned it right way. And that's history folks.

Whenever I wanted to impress a girl, I played the song that Luna taught me and it worked every time. Without Luna showing me this song I wouldn't have been such a "ladies man".
