Marginal Threat For Severe Storms – 10.21.2019

Today, there will be patchy dense fog before 10 am.  The high for today is 77 with a low close to 54.  Also, you expect in the afternoon showers and thunderstorms along with wind gusts up to 20 mph.  The showers and thunderstorms will continue into the overnight hours.   Today’s storms could be severe at times because the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for our area.  The projected timeline is for this afternoon into this evening.  According to the National Weather Service, A storm system is expected to bring a marginal threat for severe storms to all of Central Alabama this afternoon into tonight.  Isolated damaging winds and a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.  The danger may begin around noon in the northwest and end around midnight in the southeast.
