If you're looking to make your plans for the upcoming football season, you got good news today. The SEC in conjunction with CBS and ESPN announced the television schedule and kickoff times that have been confirmed by the conference and the networks.

Since the summer announcement of the season kickoff on Sept. 26, universities have taken the precautions that are needed for the health and safety of their campus communities so there is a successful restart to athletics.

The dates and times that have been confirmed for the Tide are as follows.

  • Sept. 26 Alabama at Missouri at 6 p.m. on ESPN
  • Oct. 3 Alabama vs. Texas A&M 2:30 p.m. on CBS
  • Oct. 17 Alabama vs. Georgia 7 p.m. on CBS
  • Oct. 31 Alabama vs. Mississippi State 6 p.m. on ESPN
  • Nov. 14 Alabama at LSU 5 p.m. on CBS

CBS announced it will feature Mississippi State at LSU on Sept. 26, Texas A&M at Alabama on Oct. 3, Georgia at Alabama on Oct. 17, LSU at Auburn on Oct. 31, Florida vs. Georgia on Nov. 7, Alabama at LSU on Nov. 14, and the SEC Football Championship Game following the season on Dec. 19.

The Crimson Tide has been slated for  four night games already after complaints by Athletic Director Greg Byrne and Alabama fans over early starts. Although the capacity in the stadium will be low, Bryant Denny Stadium will be showing off those fancy new lights of course.

The five games that have not been set will be determined in the traditional fashion for the television networks. CBS will have the option to make the first pick each week and ESPN will determine the times and broadcast networks for the remainder of the games. Disney broadcasts SEC games via ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and the SECNetwork.

The 2020 SEC football schedule will be composed of 10 games consisting of a Conference-only season.  Scheduled for December 19 at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the SEC Football Championship Game will be held after rescheduling from December 5.
