The University of Alabama athletic department has announced the official start time and ticket cost information for the Crimson Tide’s 2021 Golden Flake A-Day Spring Game.

The game is scheduled to start at noon CT on April 17 and will be televised by ESPN. Tickets will be available for purchase by the public on April 10, starting at $5 per ticket.

Premium seat holders can expect an email on March 25 with an opportunity to purchase a $10 premium ticket. Seating locations for premium ticket holders include the North and South Zone, Founders Suites, Skybox, Loge Box, Champions Club, Terrace Club, and Ivory Club.

University of Alabama students will have the opportunity to attend the game for free. An email with the directions on how to opt-in will be sent on April 6 with the deadline to submit the opt-in ending on April 7. Notification of ticket fulfillment will occur on April 10.

There has been no specification as to what the max capacity will be or how many tickets will be sold for the game. Last month, Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne mentioned he expected capacity to be kept to 20-25%. During the Alabama football regular season, capacity in Bryant Denny Stadium was reduced to 20,000 seats out of a possible 100,000.

The A-Day acts as the 15th and final practice of Alabama Football’s spring practice session. The 2021 A-Day game will be the first in almost two years, as last year’s game was cancelled due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
