Welcome back to Paradise Presses Play! For those who don't know me, one of my favorite series is Resident Evil. Zombies all over the place, ammo scarce, and a mystery to unravel. With a new entry coming out in 2021, let's look back to the most recent numbered title.

This week's choice is none other than Resident Evil 7!

Story: Ethan Winters' wife disappeared in 2014. Since then he's missed her incredibly and wondered endlessly what happened. Suddenly in 2017, he receives a message from her. Deciding to find out what happened, he heads to Louisiana. What happens next to Ethan is a journey that he won't be able to forget. With disgusting creatures and the Baker family waiting for him, Ethan will have to survive based on wits alone. But will he able to? Or will the night take him away?

Resident Evil 7 is played from a first person perspective. Which means you'll need to have eyes in the back of your head, otherwise you could be jumped by anyone and anything. And the various creatures you'll to take on would love nothing more than take down Ethan.

The real stars of the show are the Baker family. They are certainly not a regular family. Ethan will have to contend with them trying to stop him from saving Mia, and they certainly will pull out all the stops.

How far will Ethan go, and more importantly, will he be able to find Mia? Whatever happens, keep your wits about you!
