Mascot Race at 2015 Tuscaloosa Mayor’s Cup 5K [VIDEO]

One of the highlights of the annual Tuscaloosa Mayor's Cup 5K is the mascot race! A funny sight for sure, as these large characters awkwardly run as fast as they can.

The lineup included Alabama's own Big Al! Roll Tide! Plus, the Chick-fil-A Cow, and Ricky the Recycling Raccoon. Also, a pair of dogs with McGruff the Crime Dog and Sparky the Fire Dog ready to leave their mark. Plus, the turtle. Sorry, I don't know the name of the turtle. It's not the Turtle Wax Turtle. Maybe a reading turtle who is friends with the book worm?

You couldn't help but make a pick on who would win. I immediately eliminated the turtle, I mean it's a turtle. McGruff the Crime Dog has to run with a huge trench coat, sure to slow him down. I continue to size everyone up. I've seen Big Al be very acrobatic at football games, so my pick was leaning this way.
