The National Weather Service in Birmingham is forecasting the possibility of rain changing to light snowfall later tonight. Little to no accumulation is expected on grassy areas. Travel problems are not expected.

Yes, it might snow around Tuscaloosa and West Alabama tonight. Quick, get to the store and buy as much milk and bread as you can! Hurry. Haha. You know it's true, any mention of a snow flake and people around here use it as a reason to clear the shelves! I'm sure there will be the people who are shopping for Thanksgiving tonight and buy an extra loaf or two and milk, thinking- just in case.

It all clears out for us tomorrow with lots of sunshine returning for the whole weekend! But, it will be on the cold side. Especially, Wednesday the high isn't expected to even hit 40. Chilllly. All, should be fine for the travels to see granny and for tossing the football around in the backyard. Same for the 2nd holiday of the weekend, Black Friday. It will only be around 30 degrees at 5am. You probably should plan to dress in layers to stay warm and to easily shed if you get hot in those long lines! The 3rd holiday of the weekend, the Iron Bowl on Saturday between Bama and Auburn! The weather looks great for the 2:30pm rival game at their place.

Happy Thanksgiving and Roll Tide!
