Another week goes by and the Alabama Crimson Tide remains at No.8 in the latest College Football Playoff Rankings. Despite looking like one of the top four teams in the nation for the last few weeks, the CFP committee feels like the Crimson Tide should remain at No. 8

The main thing to take away from the College Football ranking is two things for Alabama. The first is that Georgia jumped Ohio State as the No.1 team in the nation. This past week the Bulldogs and the Crimson Tide clinched their respected division in the SEC. With both teams winning their divisions, it sets up an SEC Championship between the two teams. The last time these two teams faced off against each other was the 2022 National Championship when Georgia's reign of dominance started after beating Alabama.

"Alabama as a team is absolutely scary sitting at No.8 with the way they are playing", says Joey Galloway during the CFP ranking show.

The second thing to look at is the team Alabama has played. Compared to most of the teams ahead of Alabama, the Crimson Tide might have the best resume in all of college football. Alabama blew out No. 13 Ole Miss Beat No. 15 LSU with a Heisman-caliber quarterback, and blew out No.18 Tennessee.

Alabama is sitting right where it needs to be and if they win, there is no debate that the Crimson Tide should be in the Top Four on Selection Sunday.
