Have Holiday Fun Playing the Christmas Elf Name Game

Christmas is finally here and I have a way to add more cheer this year, play the Christmas Elf Name Game!

The way it works, use the specially designed and apparently North Pole approved elf naming chart. Basically, match your first name initial and birthday month to create your custom name.

From this point, there are a variety of angles you could take this, but all with the same theme of using your Christmas elf name.

The underlying challenge, people must call you by your elf name. This really works best when everyone one in the family has their own name generated using the chart below.

When someone doesn't use the name, they are penalized. Sure, the first thing I think of is flashback to my college days and say it would be a drink each time. But, let's keep this family friend. For the kids, it could be the adults have to pay a quarter or even a dollar for every time. Another idea, announce a penalty task, say doing the dishes. Then, keep score, the person who fails to say correct elf names the most loses.
