Freeze Warning in Effect Until 8am Tuesday

Turn up the heater and grab a mug of cocoa; it's going to be COLD tonight!

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Freeze Warning in effect from 2am until 8am Tuesday. Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 20's and low 30's throughout the early morning hours across Northern and Western Alabama.

Freezing temperatures may damage sensitive plants and vegetation, so be sure to cover plants or trees and bring any potted plants indoors.

And please, keep your fingers crossed that the frost kills the mosquitoes that have taken up residence underneath my back porch...
