Woman Filmed Stealing Mailbox From One of Tuscaloosa’s Most Famous Bars

The owner of one of Tuscaloosa's most popular bars is asking for help identifying a woman spotted on surveillance cameras tearing a metal mailbox off his wall early Wednesday morning.

Jeff Sirkin, who owns Gallettes on the University of Alabama Strip, shared the 13-second video on Facebook Wednesday and asked for assistance finding the woman responsible.

The video appears to show a woman in a white dress with blonde hair ripping the metal mailbox right off the bar's brick exterior wall just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Gallettes has long been a fixture in Tuscaloosa, and their signature Yellowhammers are a Gameday staple for countless University of Alabama students, alumni and visiting football fans.
