The Tuscaloosa Belles Andie Gamble, Lily Rogers and Hannah Brandon dropped the B101.7 studios to share an update on their upcoming Heritage 5K Costume Run on Halloween.

If you aren't a serious runner, no problem, walkers are welcome. It's all about having fun, this includes the option to dress up in a costume!

The Tuscaloosa Belles, founded by the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society's own Alice McLean Stewart, is a service organization of young women enrolled in the eleventh and twelfth grades of high school in Tuscaloosa County. The Belles are nominated and sponsored by the Century Club of the Preservation Society.

Proceeds from the 5K support the Tuscaloosa Belles program and Scholarship Fund. Donations are greatly appreciated. The registration fee is now $35.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top runners and best costumes.

The Tuscaloosa Belles Heritage 5K Costume Run starts and ends at the old Farmer's Market parking lot, which is at the intersection of Greensboro Avenue and Jack Warner Parkway in Tuscaloosa.
