New Cap, who dis? He’s got a sexy beard and a jaded attitude, and now Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers has a new name, too. Well, kind of. In a new, retro-inspired Infinity War poster shared by the Russo brothers, Evans is credited as The Nomad — a name that might be confusing to some, but will undoubtedly sound familiar to most Marvel Comics fans.

In the comics, Cap becomes so disillusioned with the U.S. government that he trades his iconic superhero persona in for one that’s more fitting: The Nomad. Hence this new poster shared by Joe and Anthony Russo:

Now, before you get all worked up over this Nomad fella, you should know that the Russos have no intention of changing Cap’s name in Infinity War. Back in January, Joe Russo appeared on an ESPN podcast (via Syfy), where he explained that Captain America won’t quite become Nomad in the new sequel, but will instead embody “the spirit of that character” — which makes sense given Cap’s journey through the MCU thus far.

In more Cap-related news, the Russos also posted this interesting pic of Bucky with the caption #NewProfilePic:

It definitely lends some credence (OK, a lot) to the idea that Cap will die in Infinity War, leaving Bucky to take up the mantle (and shield), much like he does in the comics.

We’ll find out for sure when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27.
