A little windy out there, right? Well, the National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory in effect now until Midnight, Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Please take notice of conditions as the southeast winds could gust up to 40 miles per hour.

This will impact portions of Central Alabama, generally along and south of I-20. It would be a great idea to be sure that you take care of any loose and unsecured objects. Also, this could impact power, and tree limbs could come down as well.

According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, here are the counties affected: Calhoun-Cleburne-Pickens-Tuscaloosa-Jefferson-Shelby-St. Clair-Talladega-Clay-Randolph-Sumter-Greene-Hale-Perry-Bibb-Chilton-Coosa-Tallapoosa-Chambers-Marengo-Dallas-Autauga-Lowndes-Elmore-Montgomery-Macon-Bullock-Lee-Russell-Pike-Barbour.

This including the cities of Anniston, Heflin, Carrollton, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Hoover, Columbiana, Pelham, Alabaster, Pell City, Moody, Talladega, Sylacauga, Ashland, Roanoke, Livingston, Eutaw, Greensboro, Moundville, Marion, Centreville, Clanton, Rockford, Alexander City, Dadeville, Valley, Lanett, Lafayette, Demopolis, Linden, Selma, Prattville, Fort Deposit, Hayneville, Wetumpka, Tallassee, Montgomery, Tuskegee.

Even the "Pickens Co. EMA of some trees knocked down" per the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
