Paris Jackson to Make a Guest Appearance on Fox’s ‘Star’
It looks like Paris Jackson is diving into the world of acting. The daughter of Michael Jackson is set to make a guest appearance on Fox’s new drama Star.
According to Variety, Jackson will portray a character named Rachel Wells who is being described as a “young, super-chic, stylish and intimidating” social media guru who pressures Star (Jude Demorest) and Eva (guest star Sharlene Taule) to push the boundaries at a photo shoot.
Star, which was created by Empire co-creator Lee Daniels, stars Queen Latifah, Lenny Kravitz and Benjamin Bratt, tells the story about a rising girl group fighting their way to the top of the music game. The series hasn't been a ratings juggernaut for Fox like its predecessor Empire, but it will most likely be renewed for another season.
Paris recently made headlines with her Rolling Stone cover story where she told the music mag that she believed that her father, Michael Jackson, was murdered.
“Because it’s obvious. All arrows point to that," she said. "It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bulls---, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bulls---.”
