Is My New Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Totally Insane or Totally Awesome? [POLL]

My Mother's Day mantra is "TREAT YO SELF," and that's what I did this weekend. I scored some great beauty buys including a new lip tar; its color is surprisingly polarizing. You either LOVE it or you HATE it, so check it out and let me know what you think.

I have wanted to buy a lip tar from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics for a loooooong time. They're called "lip tars" because the formula is seriously long-lasting and super pigmented--they're like a lip stain on steroids. OCC's lip tars come in a wide variety of colors, and I had intended on playing it safe with my first purchase.

I hit up the Tuscaloosa Sephora this weekend where several of the store's associates were wearing this bright purple lip color. I instantly fell in love. I had to have it. The girl helping me told me it was an OCC lip tar and handed me the sample tube. The color's name? HOOCHIE. (LOL, BTW.)

I tried it on and bought it. When my husband first saw the bright purple color of my lips, he did a double-take... and so has everyone at my office today. People think it's awesome or awful. I think it's awesome. I mean, just LOOK AT THAT COLOR.
