Northport Police Seek Missing 17-Year-Old
UPDATE 4 P.M.: The missing teenager has been found safe and is in the care of the Northport Police Department, according to assistant chief Keith Carpenter.
The Northport Police Department is asking for assistance in finding a 17-year-old girl who may have run away from home.
On the department's Facebook page, officers said Alisa Zoeann Leyva, 17, was last seen Monday night at the Crimson Tobacco Outlet on Skyland Boulevard.
In their post, NPD said Leyva may have run away from home and could be attempting to get to Vance, Ala.
She was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark leggings and a dark beanie.
Anyone with information regarding Leyva's whereabouts is asked to contact the Northport Police Department at 205-339-6600.
