Tornado Watch in Effect Until 9 PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 9 p.m. for all of West Alabama.

Counties included in the Tornado Watch are:

• Fayette
• Greene
• Lamar
• Marion
• Pickens
• Sumter
• Tuscaloosa
• Walker
• Winston

The National Weather Service in Birmingham's latest forecast calls for a marginal risk of severe weather this evening. Threats from the storms could include damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.
