National Weather Service Shares Video Tribute to the Victims of the 2011 Tornado Outbreak [VIDEO]

The National Weather Service in Huntsville shared a video tribute on the anniversary of April 27, 2011. The video features the names of each of the 247 Alabamians that lost their lives in the generational tornado outbreak.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has published an interactive site about the April 27, 2011 Tornado Outbreak. The site features forecast data from the days leading up to the weather event, maps with tornado paths and damage statistics, and photos and stories shared from residents from across the state.
