Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Plans Wednesday Campaign Stop in Tuscaloosa
Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will make a campaign stop in Tuscaloosa Wednesday on the campus of the University of Alabama.
The little-advertised event will be held Wednesday in Sellers Auditorium at the Bryant Conference Center.
Doors open at noon and Kennedy will speak to supporters and answer questions from 1 p.m. until 2:30.
"From addressing student loan debt to restoring the American Dream, Kennedy will share how as president he will build a brighter future for young Americans," the campaign said in a release.
Entry to the event requires wristbands which were still being given out on campus to those who register Tuesday.
If demand exceeds supply, some guests may be given waitlist wristbands and allowed to enter at 12:45 if there are still seats available. The campaign stop will not be able to accommodate standing-room guests, so organizers are encouraging supporters to arrive early.
The first 200 attendees to arrive will also receive Kennedy 2024 bumper stickers.
