A nonprofit in Tuscaloosa will give away 200 turkeys to feed families in need at an event in West Tuscaloosa on Tuesday afternoon.

Terry Banks, the president of the Board of Directors at Child Abuse Prevention Services, said they will host the giveaway at Al Freeman Park, which is located at 3001 Dragons Lane in the West End.

Car lineup for the event will begin at 1:30 p.m., and the giveaway is set to officially begin at two.

The 200 turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in support of families who are in need this Christmas season.

Please limit one turkey per vehicle.
