Northport Homeowner Hosting Live Nativity Show Christmas Night
It's Christmas in West Alabama and everyone is getting in the spirit.
There is a chance for residents in West Alabama to see a live Christmas Nativity Pageant Christmas night and the day after Christmas in Northport at 904 Princeton Pl. There are two showings each night. One at 7pm and another at 7:45p.
The nativity features actors, live animals, music, and complementary seating. Most of all, it's all completely free!
It all started back in California when I was 14 years old. We did something similar," said homeowner Judy True, who hosts the Nativity in Northport. This is Judy's ninth year putting on the nativity in Northport.
The nativity features an 80-foot set with actors, and live animals that children can pet at the conclusion of the show.
Judy says her and her son built the sets, the barn wood was donated, and volunteers come to sing and act. The children signing, the actual baby playing as baby Jesus, and the live animals all come from the community.
"It's a community effort," said Judy True.
Check out the show for yourself Christmas night and the day after Christmas at 904 Princeton Pl near Faucett-Vestavia Elementary.
