Tuscaloosa Tutoring Center Now Accepting Donations for Food Drive

A Tuscaloosa tutoring center started accepting donations for their Thanksgiving food drive this week.

The local tutoring center, C&J Resources, will be gathering unexpired and non-perishable food from October 9 to November 15. All donations will support families in need during the Thanksgiving season.

Food can be dropped off at the C&J Resources building, located at 535 Jack Warner Parkway NE E-2.

The actual food drive will take place on November 18, with donations being distributed on a first-come first-served basis. This will be the third time that C&J Resources has hosted their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

In a recent press release, the organization spoke about the importance of the event. "We are passionate about providing resources to those in need," said the release. "Your support can make a significant impact."

In addition to donating food, the tutoring center has also invited local individuals and businesses to sponsor the event. "Your sponsorship will enable us to provide even more assistance to our community members," said the organization.
