The United States Football League is back after a successful inaugural campaign that saw the Birmingham Stallions take home the championship in 2022. Now, the league is getting ready for round two and has announced the tryout dates for a crucial part of the gamely experience: the cheerleaders.

Tryouts to cheer for both the Birmingham Stallions and the New Orleans Breakers will be hosted at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center's Magnolia Room on Sunday Feb 19 at 1:15 p.m. as well as Sunday Feb 26 at the same time.

Applications for tryouts can be submitted on the USFL's website. Walk-up tryouts will not be accepted.

Video tryouts can be sent to cheer@usflgameday.com by 12 p.m. on Feb 24.

The USFL's attire requirements for tryouts are a fitted tank top or shirt, shorts or a skort, and athletic shoes. Anyone trying out should come gamely ready, meaning their hair should be curled or fixed, as well as half up and half down. Game day makeup is also part of the requirement.

All applicants must have previous dance or cheer experience, reliable transportation, be over the age of 18, be able to commit to attending all practices and events from April 1 through June 18, and be able to work at least eight of the 10 games in the season.
