Did Bama Hoops Rise or Fall in the Polls?
Both the Associated Press and Coaches Top 25 College Basketball Polls are hot of the presses and Alabama moved up in both despite a 1-1 week. Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide are ranked No. 15 in both major polls after losing to Auburn Wednesday before bouncing back to be LSU in Baton Rouge Saturday.
This week marks a mid-week bye for Alabama before the Tide is back in action for another early morning tip time Saturday at 11 a.m. CT against Texas A&M. The Aggies must be taken seriously after polishing off Tennessee in College Station Saturday.
Texas A&M enters the week with a record of 15-8, 6-4 SEC. Alabama is tied with South Carolina atop the league standings at 9-2 in the league. Bama is 17-7 overall.
