Indulge Today and Celebrate ‘Treat Yo Self’ Wednesday

I am elated that NBC decided to renew one of my favorite shows, Parks and Recreation. In honor of Season Six with the Pawnee crew, I decided to declare today as a day to "Treat Yo Self." Here's the things in which I am indulging today. Gotta live large, y'all!

Mad Men is my favorite TV drama, so I was bummed out when I  missed Print Mafia's first run of this print inspired by the show. A second edition went on sale Monday, and GUESS WHAT: I bought one. I'm going to have it framed and hang it in my office. Hopefully it will provide some serious Peggy Olsen inspiration when I need to get my creative on.

I bought this new set of eye makeup brushes this morning. I don't really need them; I just wanted to have them on-hand for when I finally decide to try out another Pinterest eye makeup tutorial. I was thisclose to not buying them, but then I asked myself: What would Donna do? TREAT YO SELF.

Madeleines are a French treat. I think "madeleine" must be French for "someone stop me from eating a pound of these things." I bought mine from the bakery because it's Treat Yo Self Wednesday and I ain't even wasting time in the kitchen. I will, however, try out Smitten Kitchen's recipe for them the next opportunity I have to bake (which is never, like I ever have free time--hahahahahahaha).

I plan on capping off Treat Yo Self Wednesday with a scorching bubble bath and reruns of Parks and Rec on Netflix tonight. It's going to be amazing.
