Icy Conditions Continue in Tuscaloosa and Across Alabama Today
The Winter Storm Warning may have ended, but there is still plenty of ice and snow on the roads in Tuscaloosa and throughout the state of Alabama--and high temperatures today aren't expected to pass the freezing mark. Here's a look at the forecast and the latest road conditions.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham forecasts a high of only 31 degrees for Tuscaloosa; the low tonight will dip down to a bitter 18 degrees.
Sunday's high is expected to be near 39 degrees, which means it may be late Sunday afternoon before driving conditions improve in our listening area.
The City of Tuscaloosa advises its citizens to avoid travel today; 311 is open for non-emergency calls.
