Huggies has developed a device that attaches to your baby's diaper and sends you a tweet whenever she pees. This is a real thing. This is not a belated April Fool's joke; the TweetPee is real, and it is here. The video is from Huggies Brazil, so forgive the language barrier. I promise, you don't need an advanced linguistics degree to know this invention is USELESS.

I don't understand the need for the TweetPee. Maybe I'm too old or out of the loop or whatever, but the idea of attaching a bird-shaped robo-sensor on my kid's crotch to send me a tweet when she pees is ridiculous. Most diapers now come with a "wetness indicator" anyway, so when/where is the need for the TweetPee?

You know how to find out if your baby needs a diaper change? CHANGE HER DIAPER. It's that easy. I mean, honestly: we can develop pee-sensing robots but we can't cure the common cold or invent a pill I can take to eat as many cupcakes as I want without gaining weight?

Crazy.
