The simultaneous food drive campaigns between Alabama and Auburn are underway, supporting local food banks and bragging rights. Here's how you can help the Beat Auburn Beat Hunger drive!

As we approach Thanksgiving, what better way to give back to our community than to help stock the shelves at the West Alabama Food Bank.

The goal set is 325,000 pounds, which will be able to sustain our food bank in Northport for approximately the next seven months!

The drive runs through November 20, 2015. Make your donations at any of the red collection barrels scattered around town, like Tuscaloosa Library, Ferguson Center Food Court, Rise Center, and Women's Resource Center. Plus, many other spots on and off campus, click here to see the map for other locations.

It is being asked, Please donate unopened, non-perishable food items, no glass containers or homemade foods. The food bank always needs items like breakfast foods, peanut butter, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meats and soups, crackers and cookies!

Together we can make a difference at home and earn the bragging rights of beating Auburn and beating hunger! That calls for a Roll Tide!
