Heat Advisory in Effect Until 9 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016
Prepare for a scorching hot weekend in Alabama: The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Heat Advisory in effect through Saturday night as heat index values soar past 105 degrees.
The forecast today calls for a high of 96, and tomorrow's high is forecast to be 97 degrees. Combine this heat with Alabama humidity, and heat indices this weekend are expected to be between 105 and 107 degrees.
