Are you hoping to avoid catching the flu this year? Well, help might just be on the way. The Tuscaloosa County Health Department will be hosting a drive-through flu vaccination clinic this Tuesday, (10/23).

The Health Department, which is located at 2350 Hargrove Road E, will be conducting the clinic in their parking lot between 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. Organizers say that no appointment is needed, and flu shots will be administered until the supply of vaccines are gone. In case of rain, the clinic will be held inside the health department's facility.

The vaccines are free for people who have Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, or Medicare Part B. Patients must bring their insurance cards for proof that they're on one of those plans for free shots. For anyone else, the vaccines cost $10.
