Florida Monkeys may carry a deadly form of herpes

If you see a monkey in Florida, please don't pet it. Researchers say nearly 25% of all monkeys in Florida may carry a deadly form of Herpes B Virus. “The headlines have already taken off about this, but there’s really a lot we still don’t know about herpes B in wild monkeys,” says study author Samantha Wisely, a wildlife biologist at the University of Florida.

So, stay away from those cuddly creatures and just enjoy their natural beauty from a distance.
