Fall Boogie No. 9 Offers a Weekend of Music in Waverly, Alabama

Only about 100 people live in Waverly, Alabama, but there is something there that keeps people from all over coming by the thousands, a few times a year.

That thing is Standard Deluxe. Owned by Scott Peek, Standard Deluxe, Inc. is a full service print and design company. Supplying services to individuals, businesses, and bands including T-shirts & textile printing, hand-printed posters, wedding invitations & cards, flat package printing, and more!

The musical landscape comes alive a few times a year when Standard Deluxe host a menagerie of live music! Some of the acts that have graced the stage include Hiss Golden Messenger, Cedric Burnside, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires, members of the Drive-By Truckers, Adam Hood, Band of Heathens, John Moreland, and a ton of others!

On October 15, 16, and 17 of this year, that tradition continues when they host Fall Boogie #9, a weekend of festivities with fantastic music, local food vendors, artisans, and good vibes!

On Friday night, October 15th, join them for the Pre-Night to Fall Boogie featuring Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Joshua Ray Walker, and Seth Walker. Dinner is served and gates open at 5:30 pm and showtime is at 6:15.

On Saturday, gates open for the official Fall Boogie #9 at 11 am and the show starts at noon. Birmingham's Janet Simpson and Early James will kick the day of music off followed by Birmingham/Atlanta band Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires, a special 30th Anniversary set from Blue Mountain and Maggie Rose will close out the night.

If you're sticking around for Sunday, join them for brunch at 10 am followed by Lee Bains doing an acoustic set and finally Jon Spencer and the Hitmakers will close out the weekend!
