Evan Neal Off To Great Start With New Team
Former Alabama left tackle Evan Neal was drafted seventh overall to the New York Giants in this spring's NFL Draft, and is already off to a great start with his new team.
Per a report from ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Neal was seen after Giants practice getting in some extra work by himself, running sprints while the rest of the team had left the field already.

A former 5-star recruit, Neal joined the Crimson Tide in 2019 as one of the top-five players in his entire class. Hailing from IMG Academy in Florida, the hulking prospect was highly sought after by nearly every school in the country, including multiple offers from within his home state.
Despite interest from all across the nation, Neal rolled with the Tide and became an instant impact player, starting at left guard in his first season and earning Freshman All-American honors.
In his sophomore year, the 6-foot-7, 350lb. behemoth continued dominating, this time from the right tackle position and helped the Tide to its 18th national title.
Finally, in Neal's last season in Crimson, the once highly touted prospect turned college football star was ready to make the switch to left tackle. Blocking for Bryce Young's blindside, Neal was stellar. The junior finished the year allowing just two sacks and Young was able to put together a spectacular Heisman Trophy year, guiding the Tide to a consecutive national title appearance.
While the Giants currently feature one of the league's top left tackles already in Andrew Thomas, Neal should fit in perfectly on the right side where he has played and found success before.
