Do You Remember the Snowpocalypse of 2014?

A snow and ice storm caught Alabamians by surprise on this date in 2014, leaving thousands literally stranded on the highways. 

The original forecast called for a much higher temperature, so no one was prepared for the ice storm that actually happened. On January 28, 2014 I was at at home sick with the flu. I have never been so thankful to have been sick.

I had friends and family members in Birmingham who couldn't get home due to icy roads. They had to spend the night with stranded strangers in random offices and day care centers since the highways were impassible.

It was CRAZY. Do you remember the Snowpocalypse?
