No. 8 Alabama softball has new opponents for their opening weekend, the team announced late Thursday night.

As early as this morning, the Crimson Tide were expected to travel to Austin, Texas  tomorrow for the Texas Classic Tournament. The Longhorns announced the cancellation of the tournament due to freezing conditions occurring in parts of Texas.

After several hours of searching for opponents, coach Patrick Murphy and Team 25 have solidified three replacement opponents to save their opening weekend.
