Alabama Men’s Basketball Wrapping Up Season On Hot Streak

Title Town (Tuscaloosa) loves football! Even in the offseason talk swirls around the recruiting class and the countdown to the spring football game. Meanwhile, did you know the Alabama Men's Basketball team is on the bubble to make the NCAA Tournament? Make it and then anything is possible. This is even more true this season with the incredible amount of upsets and losses by top ranked teams such as Florida.

Alabama is number 2 right now in the SEC conference and building momentum for the post season. Coach Anthony Grant and the Crimson Tide have won four straight and 10 of its last 12 games, including the other night against the Highway 82 rival, Mississippi State. Just make the tourney and have a shot to go on a run towards a National Championship!

The next step is a key SEC showdown in Baton Rouge this weekend against LSU (12:30 Saturday). UA has five games left on the schedule, two of them at home. The next home game at Coleman Coliseum will be Tuesday against those Tigers from Auburn. The final home game before the SEC tournament is Saturday March 9th vs. Georgia.
