Bama’s Back in It, Y’all

Can I get a ROLL TIDE?

I wasn't watching the Oregon and Stanford game last night. I'd seen Baylor whoop all up on #1 Kansas State, but I just can't stand the Ducks and wasn't tuned in to the game. I'm just channel surfing when I stop on ABC 33/40 and see that Oregon and Stanford are tied. It's overtime. The graphic on the screen reads "Stanford wins with a score." Then I see the most beautiful field goal ever and the #2 Oregon Ducks GO DOWN.

It's at that moment that I LOOSE IT. I'm jumping up and down with excitement and screaming "ROLL TIDE" at the top of my lungs. The stars align once again (thanks, Bear Bryant, for the divine intervention), and Bama is all but headed to Miami to bring home National Championship #15 to T-Town.

Bama is back in it. Undefeated Notre Dame is still #1, but all indications point to Bama's being #2 when the BCS standings are released tonight. That means all that stands between us and another crystal football is beating Auburn (LOL) and winning the SEC Title Game against the (overrated) Georgia Bulldogs.

Notre Dame takes on USC next Saturday. Although I am eager to see Bama ranked #1 again, I refuse to cheer for a Lane Kiffin-coached team, so GO IRISH! We'll see y'all in January. Hope you're ready to play big boy football, because Bama runs this. It's going to be two in a row for us and seven in a row for the SEC.
